to apply for the job
At Swiss Life Asset Managers, you will take full responsibility in a fast-paced and international environment. Here you are offered an independent and varied role where no two days are alike – in a tight-knit team where the business is always close and your skills truly make a difference.
About the role
As the Accounting Manager at Swiss Life, you are responsible for a number of property companies within a fund structure and drive the accounting process from start to finish. The role is broad and includes both ongoing work and more complex issues related to reporting and transactions. You have regular contact with customers, auditors, and other external parties, where much of the communication takes place in English.
You belong to the finance team, which currently consists of five people, where you work closely together in a flat hierarchy with a high degree of personal responsibility. You report to the CFO, who is also operationally involved in the business.
The pace is sometimes high and conditions may change, which places demands on flexibility, independence, and good prioritization skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for accounting as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for several property companies.
- Preparation of income and tax declarations as well as annual reports.
- Handling of VAT, property valuation, and depreciation.
- Reporting to customers and investors.
- Participation in due diligence processes for property transactions.
- Ongoing contact with auditors, banks, and other partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have solid experience in accounting and are confident in independently managing the entire accounting flow. You have extensive experience with closing accounts, declarations, and reporting, as well as a good understanding of relevant regulations, preferably K3.
You have likely worked in a role where you handled several companies in parallel, for example at an accounting firm or within the real estate industry. Experience from property-related activities is meritorious.
You are used to working at a high pace with tight deadlines and thrive in an environment where planning may change. The role requires that you communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
As a person, you are self-reliant, detail-oriented, and flat-hierarchy friendly. You have a solution-oriented approach, take responsibility for your delivery, and actively contribute to the team's joint work.
What we offer
At Swiss Life Asset Managers, you get a varied and responsible role in an organization where decision-making paths are short and collaboration is close. Here, a family culture is combined with the strength of an international group, and you become part of a team where engagement and well-being go hand in hand with business.
