Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career – in a role where you can combine deep knowledge with business acumen and influence? Perhaps you currently work in auditing and want to get closer to the business operations and take on greater responsibility.
Götessons Design Group is in a growth phase with several acquisitions behind it and currently consists of 32 companies across the Nordics and Europe. We are now looking for a Group Accounting Manager – a role for you who thrives in an international environment, wants to be close to the business, and is attracted by the opportunity to be part of a continued growth journey.
About the Role
As the Group Accounting Manager, you will become part of the group's finance function and work closely with the Group CFO while reporting to the Group Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for the accounting of the group's product companies – both Swedish and European – in a business characterized by growth, acquisitions, and the ongoing development of systems and processes.
The role involves a combination of operational responsibility and a broader group perspective. You will work on everything from closing accounts and annual reports to liquidity and internal financing, while playing a key role in developing working methods, strengthening internal controls, and streamlining processes.
You will have many contact points, both internally within the group and externally with, for example, accounting firms in different countries. The position is based in Ulricehamn or at the subsidiary Brigo in Mölndal.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correct accounting and closing of accounts for the group's product companies.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements as well as annual reports for the Swedish product companies.
- Manage intra-group flows such as liquidity, internal loans, and cash management.
- Coordinate and quality-assure reporting from international companies and external partners.
- Work with group accounting and reporting according to IFRS.
- Participate in the development of processes, system support, and internal controls.
- Be involved in analysis and follow-up related to financial reporting.
Qualifications
You have an academic degree in economics, preferably with a focus on accounting or finance, and have a few years of experience in qualified accounting work. You have a good understanding of the accounting whole and feel confident in closing accounts and regulations. Experience with group structures, IFRS, or working in an international environment is advantageous. We also see that you may have a background in auditing and now want to take the next step to work more closely with the business and take greater ownership of the entire accounting flow.
You have very good skills in Excel and are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You are a person who combines structure and precision with drive and curiosity. You thrive in a changing and dynamic environment where you get to take responsibility, find solutions, and contribute to development – rather than just maintaining.
What We Offer
Götessons Design Group offers a role in a growing and entrepreneurial group with strong future confidence. Here you will become part of an organization with short decision-making paths, high engagement, and a warm corporate culture where many thrive and stay for a long time.
You will have the opportunity to work broadly within accounting in an international context – and at the same time influence both working methods and development forward in a group that continues to grow.
About the Company
Götessons was founded in 1984 and has since developed into an international group offering a complete range of workplace solutions with a focus on office spaces. The group includes acoustic expertise through Akustikmiljö in Falkenberg, acquired in 2015. In 2019, David Design was acquired, an exclusive brand producing furniture created by Sweden's leading designers. In 2022, Scan Sørlie joined the group, a leading furniture player on the Nordic market with strong competence in production and product development. In January 2024, we welcomed Norco Interior and SIAS Contract to the group, a market-leading interior design group present in both the Nordics and Central and Eastern Europe. Since early November 2025, Brigo, specializing in manufacturing and product development, is also part of the group. The combined group amounts to approx. 1.5 billion SEK with around 700 employees.
