On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Finance Assistant for a company in Gothenburg. We are looking for you who thrive in a broad role where you get to work with ongoing finance operations and contribute to creating efficient financial processes.

About the role

As a Finance Assistant, you will become an important part of the finance function and work with daily financial administration. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and other parts of the business to ensure correct and efficient financial flows.

Examples of tasks:

• Handle supplier and customer accounts receivable/payable.
• Register and code invoices.
• Execute payments and bank reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly closing and ongoing financial administration.
• Support the finance function with other administrative tasks.

We are looking for you who

We believe you are a careful and responsible person who enjoys working in a structured manner. You have an eye for detail, take initiative, and appreciate collaborating with others.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in economics or finance.
• Be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience in financial work.
• Be ambitious and want to develop long-term within finance and business management.
• Be structured, careful, and responsible.
• Have a strong interest in finance, systems, and digital working methods.
• Be driven to find smarter and more efficient ways of working.
• Be curious, proactive, and willing to take significant responsibility for your own development.
