Do you want to help strengthen Eslöv Municipality's preparedness for future challenges? As a Preparedness Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing the municipality's ability to prevent, manage, and recover from crises and societal disruptions. Together with engaged colleagues, you will contribute to a safe, robust, and resilient Eslöv.

Your Assignment

As a Preparedness Coordinator, you have a central role in developing and coordinating the municipality's work within civil defense, crisis preparedness, and security protection.

You will, among other things:

• Provide qualified support to management and operations
• Develop and implement plans, routines, and governing documents
• Work with continuity management
• Develop the municipality's crisis leadership work
• Strengthen the municipality's work on supply preparedness
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct training and exercises
• Collaborate with external actors, participate in networks, and conduct environmental scanning

The role involves both strategic and operational tasks and requires the ability to switch between long-term development work and current issues that need to be handled here and now.

Your Experience

• Post-secondary education in fields such as political science, security, preparedness, crisis management, or urban planning
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Civil preparedness
• Security protection
• Preparedness and continuity planning
• Crisis leadership
• Supply preparedness or supply systems

The position is classified for security. Security clearance and register checks are conducted prior to employment. Approved security clearance and Swedish citizenship are requirements for employment.

About the Workplace

The Security Unit is responsible for the municipality's work within, among other things, crisis preparedness, civil defense, security protection, information security, as well as safety promotion and crime prevention issues.

You will be part of a team consisting of the Security Manager, Safety Coordinator, Information Security Coordinator, and one additional Preparedness Coordinator. We work closely together and support each other when needed, which contributes to a broad and developing work environment.
