The Adult Psychiatry Clinic in Ängelholm belongs to the Adult Psychiatry Business Area (VO) in Helsingborg and is part of the Administration for Psychiatry, Habilitation, and Assistive Devices. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety conditions, as well as various personality syndromes and neuropsychiatric conditions, are primarily assessed and treated. The clinic in Ängelholm is at the forefront of development and works with team-based care. Consequently, you will work with and contribute to psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality.
Approximately 34 employees of various professional categories work at the clinic, including medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Here, you will become an important part of a team of six medical secretaries where community, collaboration, and well-being are in focus. The group works closely together and provides valuable support to other employees in their daily work. Your main responsibilities involve organizing and structuring the administrative work at the clinic.
The tasks are varied and include, among other things for this position, reception duties, mail handling, some telephone service, medical record writing via MedSpeech in Melior, registrations in various systems (where Pasis is the most frequently used), and support to the clinic staff. Within psychiatry, the Act on Psychiatric Compulsory Care (LPT in outpatient care) is applied, where the secretary has an important administrative role. You will also participate in our conferences, such as treatment conferences and workplace meetings (APT).
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with education in Health and Social Care Administration 80 credits (KY/400p (YH) or equivalent medical secretary education. For the position, you are required to have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of medical terminology. We use the systems Melior, MedSpeech, and PASIS, and we would appreciate it if you have knowledge of these systems. Furthermore, generally good IT proficiency in a Windows environment is considered a merit.

Assistive Devices is tasked with managing assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. The administration also includes vision, hearing, and deaf services, as well as youth clinics in Skåne.
