Job Responsibilities

As an administrator here, you will become a central part of the operations, responsible for daily operations, a coordinating role within the organization, and support for the principal. Working hours are distributed between the introductory programs and adult education. Your work includes student administration, where you handle registration, study plans, grades, and lending of materials. You are responsible for contact with authorities such as CSN and SCB, and work with contracts, invoicing, and various types of orders. In close collaboration with the principal and the economist, you are responsible for budget follow-up and generating statistics. Furthermore, you are responsible for ordering and handling national tests as well as purchasing teaching materials and consumables.

The position includes diary management and archive handling. You also manage absence control and are responsible for payroll administration and other tasks related to the school's daily operations. The role also involves coordinating contacts with external actors such as building caretakers and other partners.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where no day is the same and who sees the value in providing good service to students, staff, and school leadership. The work takes place in a small team, and we place great importance on your ability to work independently, structured, and flexibly.

Your tasks may change and develop based on the needs of the operations, making the role stimulating and varied.

Qualifications

We are looking for a school administrator who wants to contribute to a smooth and efficient operation on our introductory programs and adult education. You have at least a high school diploma, preferably supplemented with post-secondary education in administration or another education we consider equivalent. Experience in school administration, especially within adult education and/or introductory programs, is meritorious.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Takes initiative and works independently, flexibly, and structured.
  • Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and can juggle many balls at the same time.
  • Has good digital competence, is familiar with administrative systems, and has the ability to quickly learn new digital tools.
  • Has very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
  • Has good numerical ability and is comfortable working with calculations, for example during inventory, orders, invoicing, and payroll administration.

Experience with SchoolSoft, Google Classroom, Skola24, or InfoMentor is meritorious.

As a person, you are creative, communicative, meticulous, and structured. Since administration changes over time, you need to be able to adapt to changed conditions and see opportunities in development and change. The workload varies between different operations and during the year, which requires that you have a good ability to plan and prioritize tasks and that you can handle a high pace during certain periods, for example, at the start and end of terms.

In your personal letter, we would like you to specifically describe your skills and competencies in relation to what is requested in the advertisement.

We look forward to hearing from you. Welcome with your application!
