PRODUCTION ENGINEER TO BE-GE SEATING

Do you want to help develop the production of tomorrow at a company where technology, quality, and continuous improvement are at the center? As a Production Engineer, you will have a key role with the opportunity to influence processes, working methods, and production development.

You will become an important part of the production organization, working closely with the Production Manager and acting as the link between production, product development, quality, purchasing, and finance. Together, you will drive the development towards efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective production solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production Engineer, you are responsible for developing, improving, and ensuring the quality of our production processes. The role is broad and varied, with a focus on both daily operations and long-term development.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Develop and optimize production and assembly processes, work methods, and production flows.
• Participate in the industrialization of new products and changes to existing products.
• Work with risk analysis, process mapping, FMEA, control plans, and PPAP.
• Create and update work instructions, production documentation, and production economic models.
• Plan and design workstations, production layouts, fixtures, and aids.
• Identify and implement improvement activities to increase productivity, quality, and safety.
• Contribute to investments in machinery, tools, and production equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving regarding quality and production deviations.
• Provide technical support to production in daily operations.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and a drive to improve and develop operations. You thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, problem-solving, and practical implementation.

We believe you have:

• Post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent.
• Experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of production processes and industrialization.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience in improvement work, preferably within LEAN.
• Experience working in business systems and Office environments.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious experience includes:

• Production planning/preparation.
• Core tools such as APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience with the business system Monitor.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You are communicative, team-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility, driving improvements, and turning ideas into concrete results.
