We are looking for two new superheroes to join our team. Do you want to work at a workplace that is welcoming, has a high ceiling (open atmosphere), and where people have fun at work? Then this might be for you!
Within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), you work to provide support in daily life to people with various disabilities. Our approach means that the work is focused on making daily life meaningful, understandable, and manageable for the resident. Together with your colleagues, you will work strategically and purposefully with pedagogical work.
You will promote good quality of life where the individual is given the best opportunity to develop their abilities and strengths. This means that you positively encourage, stimulate, and engage the individual to increase their independence, while creating participation, continuity, and security. As an employee within LSS, it is your task to support the residents with daily living through individualized daily support. The support is based on individual implementation plans drawn up by the contact person in consultation with the user and any relatives. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on the residents' implementation plans and other operational systems. The position involves varied tasks, with a focus on motivational work, support and help with physical and mental ill health, as well as support with practical tasks such as hygiene, cleaning, shopping, cooking, and some care work.
The work can be physically demanding and involve heavier lifting. Scheduled working hours - the position also includes work at other workplaces in the form of resource shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Nurse assistant education or other education that the employer deems equivalent
- Documented experience of social documentation according to Combine and IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center)
- Experience of independently drawing up and revising implementation plans
- Very good ability to understand, speak, and write in Swedish, to ensure documentation and communication
- Category B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
- Knowledge of the operations
- Knowledge of comorbidity, neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD), autism, or intellectual disability
- Current delegation for medication management, insulin, or similar
- Experience of using MI (Motivational Interviewing) to motivate residents to increased independence or behavioral change
- Experience of supervising nurse assistant students or new employees during induction
- Yrkesresan training: Completed modules in the national competence initiative Yrkesresan within the disability area
Personal Qualities
You should be able to put the individual at the center and work based on their needs and opportunities. This means that you have a flexible and independent working method and the ability to take personal responsibility.
We are looking for you who are engaged, responsive, and have good collaboration skills. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and their different prerequisites, and you adapt your way of conveying information to the recipient.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work in an effective way and adhere to set timeframes.
You are outgoing and build good relationships in professional contexts. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and handle conflicts in a constructive way.
We value a professional attitude and that you show patience and high empathetic ability. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
