We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician/Repairer for our client in Sölvesborg. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a modern industrial environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are in focus.
About the Role
On-site at our client's facility, you will become an important part of the maintenance department and work closely with production to ensure high operational reliability.
You will work with both planned and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facilities. The role is varied and suits you who enjoy solving technical problems while working long-term with improvements and preventive maintenance.
About the Assignment
- Scope: Full-time, afternoon shift
- Location: Sölvesborg
- Start: Autumn/Winter 2026
- Employment Type: Fixed-term employment with a chance of extension with the client
Your Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production lines, machines, and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment during emergency breakdowns
- Participate in improvement work to increase operational reliability
- Perform workshop tasks and internal manufacturing of components
- Contribute to developing and improving maintenance routines
- Ensure that work is carried out according to current safety requirements
About You
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and experience from industrial maintenance, preferably in heavy industry. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to identify problems before they lead to downtime. As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and driven by finding improvements that contribute to more efficient production.
You are responsible, have a high safety awareness, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues while also being able to work independently when the situation requires it.
Formal Requirements:
- Workshop education or equivalent
- Experience with preventive maintenance in heavy industry
- Experience with welding
- Basic knowledge in mechanics
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with plastic welding
- Basic knowledge in electricity, pneumatics, and pumps
- Forklift license
- Overhead crane training
- Lift training
- Certificate for Hot Work
