Service Technician / Workshop & Returns Reception – SÄVE Hyrmaskiner

Do you want to work in a varied role where you combine technology, workshop duties, and customer-facing responsibilities?

We are now looking for an employee for a combined position focusing on 50% service technician and 50% workshop/returns reception.

Here, you will have an important role in daily operations, working with troubleshooting, repairs, and the reception/inspection of machines returning from rental.

About the Role

In this role, you will work broadly with our machines and equipment. Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and simple repairs of machines and equipment
• Function checks and preparation for rental
• Reception and inspection of returned machines
• Washing, inspection, and simple maintenance in a workshop environment
• Documentation of faults, damages, and actions taken
• Collaboration with colleagues in the workshop, transport, and rental departments
• Assisting with the transport of smaller lifts and machines when needed

We are looking for someone who

• Has a driver's license and access to a car
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish
• Has good knowledge of English
• Has experience working with machinery, electricity, or electronics
• Is experienced in repairs, servicing, and troubleshooting
• Can work both independently and in a team
• Is responsible, detail-oriented, and solution-focused

Meritorious Qualifications

• Category BE driver's license: This is highly meritorious and practically close to a requirement, as the role may involve transporting smaller lifts and larger machines.
• Experience or interest in lifts, construction machinery, and related product groups
• Forklift license
• Lift training
• Working at heights training
• Experience from the rental industry, workshop, or construction/civil engineering sector
