Ronneby Miljö & Teknik is seeking an Operations Technician with maintenance expertise

We are looking for operations staff for the District Heating & Cooling department who will be involved in ensuring the operation of our facilities and, together with the rest of the department, responsible for the production plants functioning from a holistic perspective.

About the role

As an Operations Technician here, you work together with your colleagues in the department on monitoring, operation/maintenance, and optimization. We also have a number of exciting initiatives, including small-scale combined heat and power to produce renewable electricity at two production facilities.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Optimization/efficiency improvement of production facilities with regard to economy and environment

• Preventive and corrective maintenance work in the operations

• Actively working with continuous improvements that are documented and followed up

• Contribute to achieving the company's set goals such as quality, efficiency, delivery, and personal safety, as well as following laws, agreements, and current safety regulations

• Work according to the company's guidelines and act in line with Miljöteknik's goals, principles, and values, and support and follow decisions made in the company

• Independently perform supervision of our production facilities and operate a loader when necessary.

The role of Operations Technician is based at Sörbyverket in Ronneby. The position is daytime hours with on-call duties.

About you

We are looking for you with experience from the process or energy industry and with relevant technical education. You have good knowledge of how different systems affect each other, such as district heating and cooling. If you also have knowledge of automation, as well as combustion technology or are a certified boiler operator, we become particularly interested.

We want you to have good language skills in Swedish and preferably also in English. A B-driver's license is a requirement.

You are also accustomed to initiating your own activities and smaller projects and taking personal responsibility for them.
