The Swedish Migration Agency is undergoing a comprehensive digital development journey where we are modernizing our working methods and IT solutions. As a solution architect, you will become an important part of this development.

About the role

As a solution architect, you work in the borderland between business operations and IT. Together with colleagues in system development, business development, as well as solution and business architecture, you design solutions that meet the business's needs today while simultaneously supporting the Swedish Migration Agency's long-term goals.

You ensure that our solutions follow the target architecture and provide support throughout the entire development process – from analysis and planning to implementation. The role also involves conducting analyses and preparing decision support materials for investments and changes to IT solutions, as well as providing ongoing architectural support during ongoing development.

Here you will work with complex issues where technology, business operations, and public service mission meet. You become part of an organization characterized by collaboration, continuous improvement, and the desire to create solutions that last over time.

We are looking for you who have

• An academic education of at least 120 credits in the IT field, or alternatively other education combined with knowledge acquired through work experience.
• Several years of experience in IT architecture work in the form of architecture methods, tools, and processes.
• Experience in modeling, for example in modeling languages such as ArchiMate or UML.
• Good communication skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
• Swedish citizenship. Requirement of Swedish citizenship is set for this position.

It is meritorious if you have

• Certifications or education in the architecture field, for example TOGAF, CITA-x, or DFK-CIA.
• Experience in modeling in Sparx EA.
• Experience in business modeling.
• Experience in giving presentations and leading work meetings.
• Experience in assignment or project management.
• Experience from working in a larger organization or authority.

Terms of employment

Location: Norrköping, Linköping, or Stockholm

Employment type: Permanent employment with a six-month probation period.

Start date: By agreement.

Working hours: Full-time, office hours with flexibility.

Remote work: Possibility of some remote work exists based on the business's needs and prerequisites.
