Do you want to help build modern technical platforms for critical societal infrastructure? At the Swedish e-Health Agency, you will work with national e-health services that contribute to safe medication management and make it easier for pharmacies, healthcare, and citizens to access critical information at the right time.
About the Role
As a Senior Solution Architect, you are responsible for setting the direction and steering the architecture within our platform domain. In this role, you make architectural decisions, translate them into concrete architecture documentation, and validate them through PoCs and pilots. You ensure that the architecture is sustainable, secure, coordinated, and supports the organization's goals.
You belong to the Product Management unit, which is part of the Platform Development section.
The Product Management unit includes leading roles in our agile network organization, such as Agile roles in the SAFe framework (PM, RTE, PO, and SA). Additionally, there are domain and solution architects who will be close collaborators to address the platform team's needs.
The section is responsible for developing and creating common components shared between business areas and/or other departments. The focus is on delivering services through self-service and enabling complete CI/CD flows for the organization's products.
The Digital Strategy and Platform Division is responsible for the agency's shared technical platform, shared capabilities, and services. The domain covers areas such as container platforms, identity and access management, API management and integrations, continuous delivery (CI/CD), observability, and digital signing.
About You
We are looking for someone who is accustomed to taking responsibility for their own work and driving their processes forward. You are flexible, capable of handling reprioritizations, and can adapt to the situation you are in. We also value strong analytical skills and the ability to see long-term, sustainable solutions in complex contexts. Furthermore, you take initiative in activities aimed at achieving set goals.
Since you will work both independently and in teams, we expect you to have good collaboration skills, be able to build trust, and enjoy working with others.
We are looking for someone who has:
- An academic degree as a civil engineer, systems scientist, or equivalent work experience
- Several years of experience in architecture work in complex IT environments, including governance, lifecycle management, and documentation
- A good understanding of modern platform environments and the technical capabilities they entail
- Experience in modern software development and system design
- The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:
- Experience from the healthcare sector or other regulated industries
- Experience in security architecture and regulatory compliance within the public sector
- Experience in agile working methods and architecture work in a SAFe organization
- Experience in identity federation and access management
