The Roma school area is centrally located on Gotland, with a convenient commute to Visby and excellent bus connections. The school area includes Romaskolan, a grades F-9 school, as well as grades F-6 schools in Vänge, Kräklingbo, Dalhem, and Endre.
Collaboration between the schools is a strength of our operations. Students from the area's F-6 schools are bussed to Romaskolan to varying degrees for instruction in several subjects, creating good continuity, a secure transition between stages, and opportunities for subject-specific and collegial collaboration.

Your responsibilities
Special educator or teacher with special pedagogical competence for a special education group – make a real difference in a smaller context.
We are now looking for a special educator or teacher for our special education group, where teaching takes place in small groups with a high degree of structure, security, and relational teacher support.
The role involves working with students who need extensive adjustments and an individualized approach. You will work closely with special educators, student health services, mentors, and guardians to create a calm and accessible learning environment focused on knowledge development, motivation, and participation.
Who are you?
You have a special educator education or hold a teaching degree with experience in special pedagogy, have stable leadership skills, and a strong commitment to students who need more support to reach their potential. You work in a structured manner, are team-oriented, and see possibilities even in challenging situations.
We are looking for a confident and engaged special educator or teacher who wants to work in a special education group with students in great need of support – in a smaller context where relationships, structure, and clarity are crucial.
Personal suitability and a professional attitude are very important to us.
