Do you want to work with boats, engines, and technology in an engaged team where quality and service are the focus? Bengtssons Marinservice is now looking for a service technician for a fixed-term position of at least six months, with the possibility of extension.

About the position

As a service technician with us, you will work with servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of boats and marine engines. We assist both private individuals and insurance companies with everything from troubleshooting and repairs to engine servicing and winter storage. Here, you will become part of a cohesive team with high competence, close customer relationships, and a strong commitment to the marine industry.

The position is a fixed-term contract of at least six months, with the possibility of extension. The start date is in September or as agreed upon.

Your responsibilities

• Service and repair of boat engines and marine drivelines
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
• Installation and mounting of marine accessories and equipment
• Customer contact and advice regarding service and maintenance

Qualifications

• Relevant high school education or equivalent experience
• Category B driver's license
• Technical understanding and practical experience in service and repair work
• Detail-oriented, structured, and responsible
• Good service sense and enjoy customer contact

Merits

• Experience working with boats and marine engines
• Knowledge of electricity, electronics, and hydraulics
• Category BE driver's license
• Forklift license
• Experience with welding or other workshop work
