RESPONSIBILITIES

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are confident in your role as a mechanic and have previous experience in industrial maintenance. You need to be practical, detail-oriented, and used to working in a solution-oriented manner even when the pace is high, and not afraid to get your hands dirty if needed.

We prefer that you have several years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery within heavy manufacturing or process industry. The work consists of preventive maintenance and emergency measures, component replacement, repairs, as well as some work in our own workshop. The systematic maintenance work is documented continuously in our maintenance system.

Personal qualities are highly valued. We see that you are a responsible and unpretentious person who finds it easy to collaborate with colleagues, both in maintenance and production. For us, it is important that you want to contribute to order and discipline, safe working methods, continuous improvements, and contribute to a positive atmosphere.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement. You also need to master Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious is experience in heavy industry, preventive maintenance, hot work, and forklift license.

QUALIFICATIONS

What does the role entail?

We are looking for an experienced mechanic who wants to work close to production and contribute to high availability in our sawmill in Hjältevad. As a night mechanic, you will become an important part of our maintenance team and you will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance. The work includes among other things troubleshooting, repairs, lubrication, mechanical improvements, and overhaul of machines and equipment.

The role suits you who are looking for independent work where you get to take responsibility, prioritize, and solve practical problems when production needs support.

The position involves permanent night shifts.
