At EuroMaint in Nässjö, you get the chance to combine your interest in technology and mechanics with a job that truly makes a difference every day. We work in Sweden's most modern train workshop (opened in 2024) and ensure that the Krösatåg trains run safely and reliably every day.

As a train technician, you will become part of a tight-knit team working on repairs, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of the Krösatåg trains. The work is primarily focused on our diesel vehicles, the Itino Y31/32. You will work broadly with mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity in a varied daily routine that includes both simpler service tasks and more advanced technical challenges.

We know that no one knows everything from the start, which is why we offer comprehensive internal training where you can combine theory with practice to get into the role in the best possible way.

We are looking for you with a strong technical interest who enjoys working practically, troubleshooting, and solving problems. You preferably have experience in vehicle mechanics, working with heavy vehicles, or a genuine interest in technology and mechanics. Good familiarity with using tools and the ability to understand and absorb technical documentation are meritorious. At the same time, we place great emphasis on your willingness to develop and grow together with us at EuroMaint.

To thrive in the role, you are unpretentious, meticulous, and have good problem-solving skills. You have a high safety awareness and always prioritize quality over quantity. Since the work is carried out both independently and together with colleagues, it is important that you are communicative and value good collaboration.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good physical fitness.

Meritorious for the position is knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Knowledge in electricity and/or automation
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Mechatronics or experience as an industrial electrician
