About Us

Daimler Buses Sweden AB is a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG and is responsible for sales and aftermarket services for Mercedes-Benz and Setra buses in the Swedish market.

Our headquarters are located in Vetlanda, where we offer a modern facility with a full-scale workshop handling service, damage repair, painting, and additional assembly for new buses. We employ approximately 80 people in Sweden in total, with about twenty working in our workshop.

About the Role

As an Installation Technician, you will equip brand-new buses before they hit the road. You will customize state-of-the-art buses according to specific customer requirements for the tourism and public transport of the future.

Your main responsibilities include the new installation of:

• Digital equipment: WiFi systems, router solutions, and digital destination displays.
• Lighting: Auxiliary lights, reverse lights, and work lighting.
• Safety systems: Camera surveillance, alcohol interlocks, and sensors.
• Driver environment: Ticketing systems and communication equipment.

Who are you?

To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Education as a mechanic or electrician.
• A technical interest and previous experience with electrical installations.
• Computer literacy.
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both oral and written.
• A B-driver's license (required), a D-driver's license is an advantage.
