We are looking for a driven Maintenance Technician for the JYSK Distribution Center in Nässjö. If you have a strong interest in everything related to electricity, automation, and want to work in an innovative environment, this is the job for you.

The JYSK Distribution Center is located in Nässjö and is a high-tech warehouse distributing to stores and e-commerce customers in Sweden and Finland. The warehouse consists of 3 high-bay storage systems, 21 cranes, as well as manual and automated picking areas with a total area of approx. 77,000 m2 and space for approx. 176,000 pallet positions.

Responsibilities

In the role of Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for daily operations, troubleshooting, installations, and preventive maintenance. You also work with technical development as well as support and service. You are part of a team consisting of building technicians, electricians, and mechanics, where you jointly drive continuous improvement efforts to contribute to high efficiency and a good work environment. In this role, you have the opportunity to work in a modern and highly automated workplace characterized by high tempo and fast decision-making paths. You have the opportunity to influence and further develop their production. You have a varied daily routine where your tasks are rotating. For example, one week you might work with corrective maintenance, handling repairs and urgent incidents such as alarms, while the next week you might work with more preventive or planned maintenance.

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Daily and preventive maintenance work
• Daily operation of the facility
• Working on continuous improvements to keep the facility in good condition
• Actively working with technical development and maintenance at the operational level

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Some years of professional experience within mechanics/electricity/pneumatics
• Strong technical interest and knowledge
• Computer literate
• Fluent in Swedish and comfortable with English, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license and forklift license
• Experience from previous work with automation systems is meritorious, as is experience with hydraulics
