Sheet Metal Work at Werksta Kungälv – Precision and Quality in FocusAs a sheet metal worker at Werksta Kungälv, you are responsible for body repairs, straightening, and assembly of metal parts according to the manufacturer's instructions and the workshop's routines. You work in close collaboration with damage assessors, painters, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured repair process as well as a secure customer experience.
Job Responsibilities – Repair, Straightening, and Assembly- Straighten and repair body parts using correct tools and techniques
- Perform welding, riveting, as well as assembly and disassembly of metal parts
- Assess the extent of damage together with damage assessors
- Prepare parts for painting and collaborate with the paint shop for the best results
- Document completed work in the workshop system and report spare parts needs
- Collaborate in a team for planning work orders and delivery times
- Follow the company's occupational health and safety routines and contribute to order and structure in the workshop
- Vocational education or documented experience as a sheet metal worker in the automotive industry
- Good knowledge of straightening and repair methods for car bodies, as well as experience in welding
- Experience with tools for straightening, aluminum, and steel repairs is an advantage
- Understanding of manufacturers' repair instructions and vehicle construction
- Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented
- Class B driver's license is an advantage
- Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required
- Structured and responsible with good problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented and contributes to a positive work environment
