About the role We are looking for an experienced and meticulous 3D laser operator for our client in Ulricehamn. In this role, you will work in a production environment where precision and quality are crucial. You will be employed by Uniflex and hired out to the client for a long-term assignment, with the possibility of extension or permanent placement with the client company for the right candidate.

The work involves setting up and programming laser cutting machines, performing cuts according to drawings and manufacturing instructions, and ensuring that products meet the correct tolerances and surface quality. You will work closely with the production team and workshop management to optimize production flows and ensure timely deliveries.

Working hours are during the day, with the possibility of shift work if needed. Location: Ulricehamn.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up 3D laser cutting machines (using CAD/CAM data)
• Read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Perform cutting and machining with high precision
• Quality control and measurement of finished parts
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Collaborate with planning, welding, and other production departments for efficient workflow
• Follow safety routines and contribute to a safe working environment

Who are you? We are looking for someone who is structured, technically interested, and accustomed to working at a pace where attention to detail is vital. You thrive with responsibility for machine settings and quality assurance, as well as collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.

We would like you to have:

• Experience with 3D laser cutting or similar machine machining
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM programs and ability to read drawings
• Good ability to measure and inspect parts (measuring tools, tolerances)
• Technical interest and initiative
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Qualifications that are a plus:

• Experience with fiber lasers and/or sheet metal processing machines
• Previous work in a production environment within workshop or sheet metal
• Forklift license and previous experience in material handling
• Post-secondary technical education or apprenticeship
