NearYou is currently looking for a welder for Blomdahls Mekaniska in Herrljunga. The company is a family-owned and well-established business with approximately 30 employees, where community, collaboration, and engagement are a natural part of everyday life. Blomdahls Mekaniska works within contract manufacturing and sheet metal processing, offering complete manufacturing solutions – from one-off production and prototypes to series production. Job Description

The main focus of the role will be welding, with good knowledge of TIG welding. The work is carried out based on drawings and technical documentation, which requires precision and a quality-conscious approach. You will work with materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You will also participate in other common production tasks. You will become part of an engaged team where experience, quality, and continuous improvement are highly valued. Here, you have the opportunity to work in a modern production environment with varied tasks and exciting projects.

Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. You will initially be employed by NearYou and rented out to Blomdahls, with good opportunities to transition to the client company in the long term.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are unpretentious and enjoy being involved in the entire production flow. You have previous experience working in industry or a workshop and understand the importance of quality, precision, and attention to detail.

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You work independently, take initiative, and are happy to contribute improvement suggestions to the operation.

Requirements:

• Experience in production operations
• Experience in welding, especially TIG welding
• Valid driver's license and access to a car
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
