Experienced CAM Preparer at Råda Industries
Råda Industries ABVästra Götalands län, Härryda
Previous experience is desired
Do you want to be part of our growth journey? At Råda Industries, we are a complete partner in metalworking and are currently in the midst of an exciting journey where we continue to develop our production and strengthen our offer to customers. Therefore, we now want to become even more skilled colleagues.
We are currently looking for an experienced CAM preparer who wants to take a key responsibility in our cutting machining department. Here, you will have a significant role in production, a good working environment in newly renovated premises, great benefits, and the opportunity to develop together with a growing company.
We work with customers in several industries, where precision, quality, and traceability are important parts of everyday life. Here, you get a role with great trust where you put your mark on how we program and prepare, and your work is directly visible in what we deliver to the customer.
About the role
You will be primarily responsible for the CAM preparation for our Mazak machines and a key person in the department. The role combines preparation at the computer with practical work at the machines — you are just as at home in the CAM environment as on the workshop floor.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- Develop and optimize CAM programs in Edgecam for ready-to-run status in our Mazak machines
- Select machining strategy, cutting data, and tools based on detail and material
- Read and interpret technical drawings with tight tolerances
- Ensure the first part meets specifications — quality assurance from preparation to finished part
- Work directly with the machines during startup, troubleshooting, and verification
- Contribute to improvement work in preparation and production flow
Our machine park in cutting machining:
- Mazak HCN-4000: Horizontal machining center
- Mazak QT-250MSY: Multifunction lathe with milling function, Y-axis, and sub-spindle
Investment goal in personnel recruitment:
- Mazak CV5-500: 5-axis machining center
About you
We believe that you thrive in a technical environment where precision, professional pride, and a solution-oriented way of thinking are obvious parts of everyday life. You have extensive experience in CNC machining and CAM programming and enjoy taking responsibility for your part of the production.
You are used to working systematically, take initiative, and like to understand how the entire flow fits together, from drawing to finished part. You are unpretentious, cooperative, and happy to help colleagues when needed.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, how you function in the team, and your willingness to develop together with us.
Offer
We offer you a workplace with the heart in the right place where we are proud of our work. Our corporate culture is permeated by drive, humility, and responsibility. Here, it is important that every employee thrives, gets room to be themselves, and feels like an important part of the whole.
Here you get:
- A key role with great personal responsibility and mandate to shape the preparation work
- Flexible working hours
- Health allowance
- Private health insurance
- Development opportunities
- Individual salary setting
- Work in a pleasant production environment in newly renovated premises
Working hours: Daytime Mon–Thu 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–14:45 with flexibility options
Employment type: Full-time, permanent with start as agreed
Terms of employment: The Technical Agreement
Last application date: 2026-08-02
