Tire Workshop Manager – Hall 3

At MECA Svensk Bilförädling, you will enjoy a broad and responsible role in a workshop rated among the highest in Gothenburg (4.8 out of 5). We are currently building a dedicated hall for tires and quick services – Hall 3 – and are looking for you who want to lead and develop it.

As the manager of our tire workshop, you will drive and develop Hall 3 – our hub for tires, wheel alignment, balancing, front-end geometry, and brakes. You will perform work on our hydraulic lifts, manage the tire hotel (check-in/check-out, organization, and capacity), and maintain a high pace with excellent quality, especially during tire season. You will help build the hall, improve routines, and actively contribute to the workshop's development. You will work independently with broad authority and close contact with the workshop manager. Start date: September 2026, or as agreed.

Qualifications

You who apply should:

• Have experience as an automotive technician/mechanic with a focus on tires, wheel alignment, balancing, front-end geometry, and brakes
• Be accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility for your own work area
• Have good knowledge of Swedish (customer contact and team leadership) and good English
• Hold at least a Category B driver's license
• Be organized, with a strong focus on quality and customers

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience in running or organizing a tire workshop and tire hotel
• Experience in developing a workshop
• Experience with wheel alignment equipment
• Leadership experience
• Automotive technical education at upper secondary or vocational college level (e.g., MTG) or mechanic training
• Category BE driver's license
