About the role

As a Production Manager here, you plan and lead the daily production within your team. You become the first-line manager for a team of about thirty employees working with reinforcement manufacturing, concrete mixing, post-processing, warehousing and picking, and finished goods storage. In our post-processing, we ensure that our concrete elements maintain high quality and are ready for delivery. This involves tasks such as washing, painting, lagging, window installation, and more.

The Production Manager should be a role model through their work style and leverage the engagement and competence of their employees. Together, you and your team deliver high-quality products and drive continuous improvements. The role entails overall responsibility to ensure that safety, quality, and delivery are always in focus. You coach and distribute tasks, ensure that routines are followed and developed, and act as a key communication link between the team and the factory manager. You introduce new personnel, hold employee meetings, and contribute to creating a workplace where everyone thrives, feels involved, and develops. The work is done in close collaboration with the factory manager, shift leaders, and other colleagues in the factory and Team Thomas.

Who are we looking for?

Personal qualities are important to us, and we are looking for someone who has succeeded in similar roles previously, either on construction sites or in other production environments.

We believe you are used to collaborating and creating engagement in the team – you ensure that everyone pulls in the same direction and find solutions where everyone is included. You keep your cool even when there is a lot to do and dare to stand by your decisions. You communicate clearly and win others over by being attentive and inspiring. You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities in change, especially regarding developing working methods and digitalization. Safety is always important to you, and you are good at organizing and structuring work so that production flows smoothly. You bring the team along when testing new ideas and developing the business together.

It is an advantage if you have experience from the construction industry, precast, or other manufacturing industries. It is also a plus if you have insight into reading drawings, experience working in digital systems, experience with preventive maintenance, and have previously worked with Lean as part of creating efficient production.

Key requirements are...

• Minimum upper secondary education
• Category B driver's license
• Many years of experience in professional leadership, preferably in manufacturing production or the construction industry.
• Experience working with a focus on a safe work environment
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
