Do you want to become part of Team Thomas?
You will become part of our sales organization with approximately ten employees, located in Gothenburg and Stockholm. Together, we process the Swedish and Norwegian markets with the goal of creating value for our customers and profitable growth for the business. You will belong to one of two business areas in Sweden, which otherwise consists of project management, construction, and production, with approx. 250 employees. Thomas Betong operates in 5 countries, with Sweden being a significant part of the total business.
About the role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you are responsible for developing and managing your own customer and project portfolio in West Sweden. You build long-term relationships with both existing and new customers and actively work to identify business opportunities at an early stage, as well as ensuring that our factories are filled with current business opportunities.
You drive the business from the first customer contact to contract signing and work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into competitive and sustainable solutions. The role covers both ABM (General Conditions for Building and Construction Works) and ABT (General Conditions for Design and Construction Works) business and entails clear responsibility for order intake, profitability, and the development of your portfolio. An experienced project organization supports you, responsible for driving and ensuring profitability during ongoing projects, based on the conditions you have created as a salesperson.
Your responsibilities
- Build and develop a profitable customer and project portfolio
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers and
- Identify, establish, and develop new customer relationships and business opportunities through active work in early stages.
- Responsible for sales, order intake, margin, and business results within your portfolio.
- Lead tender and quotation work in close collaboration with internal specialist functions.
- Negotiate and sign contracts.
- Follow and analyze market development, customer needs, and project opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of our customer offering and our sales work.

We believe you have
- A few years of experience from the construction process, for example as project manager, site manager, contracting engineer, consultant, or from the supplier side within the construction and civil engineering industry. Preferably worked with precast concrete in some way, although not a requirement
- Experience of working closely with customers and business and taking responsibility for a customer portfolio with profitability and growth goals
- Understanding of the construction process and different contracting forms
- Good knowledge of contract law for ABM and ABT
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
It is meritorious if you have experience of technical sales, procurement, or contracting law.
