Do you like working from the inside, but with the drive, business focus, and mindset of an outside salesperson? At Rörpojkarna, we are looking for you who want to own your business, develop customer relationships, and take greater responsibility than in a traditional inside sales role.

About the role

As an inside salesperson at Rörpojkarna, you play a central role in the business and work closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You drive business from inquiry to delivery, combining high service with a clear sales focus.

You primarily work with customers within municipalities, hotels, energy efficiency, as well as smaller and medium-sized installers, where you act as a consultant with high demands for availability and fast deliveries. The work covers a wide range of plumbing products and solutions, where you help customers find the right fit based on their needs.

You will become part of a small and family-like sales organization in Gothenburg, where about six people work closely together. Here, there are no sharp boundaries between inside and outside sales – everyone is close to the customer and the business, and everyone helps each other out.

The role involves overall responsibility for the business – from quote and order to purchasing and delivery, which provides a varied daily routine with significant personal responsibility. You report directly to the Operations Manager, which means short decision-making paths and good opportunities to influence both work methods and the business.

Your main responsibilities

  • Handle orders and customer inquiries – often with short lead times
  • Prepare quotes and follow them up all the way to the deal
  • Consultation regarding products and smart solutions within plumbing
  • Ensure deliveries and solve problems when things do not go as planned
  • Actively work on upselling and develop existing customers
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with suppliers regarding price, function, and availability

About you

You have experience from the plumbing industry and thrive in a role with significant personal responsibility. You are service-oriented and business-minded, with the ability to build trust and create long-term relationships. For you, the role is about more than just receiving orders – you are curious about the customer's needs, provide qualified advice, and naturally identify opportunities for upselling and smart solutions that create added value. You are driven by combining high service with good business results.

Furthermore, we believe that you:

  • Have experience with plumbing products and/or a strong technical interest
  • Are accustomed to quote and order work
  • Have worked in business systems (preferably Navision or similar) and have good knowledge of Excel
  • Are driven by doing business and developing customer relationships
  • Work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented manner
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple cases in parallel
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

Rörpojkarna is an established plumbing wholesaler with roots dating back to 1956 and a strong position in the Gothenburg region. The company builds its business on high availability, fast deliveries, and personal service.

With a warehouse of approximately 18,000 items – often things others lack, Rörpojkarna can quickly help customers keep their projects running and avoid costly stops.

The operation has a strong local presence with a main warehouse in Gothenburg and deliveries with own drivers, while simultaneously delivering throughout Sweden as well as projects in Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

The business is clearly relationship-driven and niche-focused on the ROT segment, municipalities, hotels, and energy efficiency, where the combination of a wide range, quick response, and technical advice creates a strong customer offer.
