Job Description

The role of Logistics Manager involves overall responsibility for the logistics flow – from planning to delivery – with a focus on delivery precision, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work both strategically and operationally, close to the operations, business, and our collaboration partners. You will become part of the factory's management group and report directly to the Plant Manager. You also have a Planning Manager reporting to the Logistics Manager, responsible for approximately 17 people. In total, approximately 130 people work in logistics, including consultants. The operations are a high-volume factory delivering over 550,000 articles per week to several major customers. We are looking for a leader who wants to join our development and change journey. The role is 100% and is based at our factory in Färgelanda.

Responsibilities

• Result and Delivery Responsibility: Ensure high delivery precision, customer satisfaction, and monitoring of relevant KPIs related to logistics and flow.
• Logistics Management: Responsible for warehouse management, capacity planning, and the development of efficient material and information flows.
• Supplier Collaboration: Ensure effective collaborations with suppliers and internal functions to optimize flows and availability.
• Improvement Work: Drive and implement improvement initiatives according to our principles.
• Health and Safety: Drive and prioritize occupational health and safety issues as a natural part of daily operations.

Competencies

• Clear and Communicative Leader: You are a confident manager who sets clear frameworks and job descriptions, while coaching your team to think new thoughts and make their own decisions.
• Egoless and Action-Oriented: You are absolutely "hands-on" when required, are sensitive to the organization, but also have the courage to stand firm by decisions made.
• Analytical and Data-Driven: You make decisions based on facts and data. You are good at performing analyses that save the day here and now, but also secure the flow for the future.
• Result-Oriented: You work structured towards set goals and follow up on operations through key figures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Substantial and extensive experience within logistics as well as documented successful leadership.
• Industry Background: Experience from the automotive industry and understanding of its complex processes is highly meritorious. Alternatively, you have a background from a major logistics provider.
• Systems and IT: Good proficiency in SAP and very strong skills in Excel.
• Languages: As we operate in an international market, very good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing is required.
• Geographic Focus: We prefer that you live in areas such as Trollhättan, Uddevalla, or Stenungsund with surroundings, as this is best for commuting.
