We serve residents in Salem, Södertälje, and Nykvarn municipalities.

Through advice, support, and treatment, we create the conditions for patients to function in the best possible way in their daily lives. We specialize in intellectual disability (ID), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and mobility impairment (MI).

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for our ID/MI team and an occupational therapist for our ASD team.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will assess and evaluate patients' abilities and needs, plan therapeutic interventions, carry them out, and issue certificates when necessary. For example, you will provide advice, support, information, and knowledge about the disability to patients and their relatives. Together with patients and relatives, you will develop strategies and, if necessary, test, prescribe, and follow up on individually adapted assistive devices.

The habilitation offers interventions both individually and in groups, physically at the clinic, digitally, over the phone, if necessary in the patient's home environment, or at another suitable location. The work is performed individually but also together with team colleagues, relatives, or networks.

Collaborating with other healthcare providers, municipal activities, or authorities is part of the work as our patients may have needs where collaboration is required.

We place great emphasis on competence development and offer a very structured introduction period, specific introductory training, further advanced staff training, and in addition to collegial support and cooperation, access to case supervision.

In addition to stimulating and enjoyable occupational therapy work, you will receive from us:

  • A varied job that is appreciated by both patients and their relatives
  • A good sense of community in interdisciplinary teamwork that provides professional development
  • Collegial supervision and professional development work
  • Competence development through our internal staff training and the opportunity to study further with support from the employer
  • Free healthcare
  • Generous wellness allowance and wellness during working hours
  • Flexible working hours
  • Extra compensation during parental leave

Qualifications

You have a great interest in people, are engaged in supporting people to a valuable life, and value the equal worth of all. You are interested in the development of both your clinical work and our joint work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and it is an advantage if you have experience from habilitation and/or people within our target group, as well as from the prescription process.

We require that you have a B driving license.
