Gymleco is looking for a CAD Drafter with a mechanical background

OBS: The position is located in Eskilstuna. During the initial period, the role also includes work in Haninge, south of Stockholm, approximately one day per week.

Gymleco is today Northern Europe's largest manufacturer and one of the world's leading suppliers of professional gym equipment. Since 1994, we have designed and produced unique, functional, and space-saving gym machines with long lifespan and high quality. Our products are represented on a broad international market, and we continue to expand globally.

We are in an expansion phase and are now looking for a CAD Drafter for our product development

Since the beginning, Gymleco's founder has personally drawn and designed all machines. Today, he still leads product development together with one additional colleague, but as our growth continues, we are now strengthening the team further. You will become part of a small, engaged team of three people who together drive development forward.

About the role

As a CAD Drafter here, you work independently but in close collaboration with the development manager and the rest of the team. You produce construction and production drawings for manufacturing, primarily within steel construction and mechanical solutions.

The work involves updating and further developing previous drawings, as well as minor adjustments to existing products. You will also work on the development of new products, from the idea stage to the finished solution, with a focus on functionality, durability, and efficient production.

The position is located in Eskilstuna. During the initial period, the role also includes work in Haninge, south of Stockholm, approximately one day per week, with the possibility of increased presence there initially if needed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good and documented experience working in SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD systems
• Has excellent ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and welding symbols
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has experience in mechanical design or a similar field

It is a big plus if you have previous experience from welding or mechanical workshops, or other manufacturing industries – preferably with a practical background before moving into a staff role.
