Primary Care Area East is a basic unit consisting of the Ålidhem and Holmsund/Obbola health centers. Ålidhem Health Center is located on Tvistevägen near Ålidhem Center and Iksu. We have approximately 22,700 registered inhabitants in a varied catchment area with a generally young population. The health center employs approximately 97 staff members, including the family center at Ålidhem Center and the paramedical clinic at Tvistevägen 48 in Tietohusen.

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for our paramedical clinic. Around 17 employees work here in professions such as psychologists, counselors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Our workplace is characterized by an open work climate and joy in work; together we create a lovely atmosphere filled with laughter and openness. We value collaboration and work closely together in team-based care for patients. Our employees possess extensive experience and knowledge, and there are opportunities for supervision both externally and internally. Job Description

As an occupational therapist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

As an occupational therapist, you are part of the first line of care for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues. Assessment and prescription of assistive devices for both physical and mental health issues are important parts of the job. Another part of the role involves working on daily structure, hand problems, and other typical tasks for an occupational therapist in primary care. There is also an opportunity to initiate and lead group activities. It may become relevant for part of your working hours to be based at the Holmsund/Obbola health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist.

The job requires a good ability to take responsibility and plan. Good collaboration and interpersonal skills are important to us, so you must be able to work both independently and in a team. You should also have an interest in supervising students.
