Primary Care Area East in Umeå

Primary Care Area East in Umeå is a basic unit consisting of the Ålidhem and Holmsund/Obbola health centers. Ålidhem Health Center is located on Tvistevägen, close to Ålidhem center, the university, and the Iksu sports facility in Umeå. The health center has approximately 22,700 registered patients, and we have about 90 employees.

Job Description

As a nursing assistant (undersköterska) with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel safe.

You meet and care for children, adults, and the elderly with various diseases and conditions. The work is varied, involving blood sampling, ECGs, spirometry, wound dressings, blood pressure measurements, ordering supplies, laundry, and assistance during various examinations and minor surgeries. At the health center, we also work in teams in the acute flow, referred to here as the acute team. Here, you work together with district nurses/nurses and doctors to best handle acute medical cases arriving at the health center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and have an interest in development and service. Experience of working within primary care is meritorious. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish. It is meritorious if you are also comfortable communicating in English.

We are looking for you who have good cooperation skills, both with patients and colleagues, as well as a professional attitude. Being solution-focused and always working to provide a good reception is a matter of course for you. You are a present and service-oriented person who contributes to change work and a good working environment. As a person, we believe you are structured and flexible, which means you will thrive in our team.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement, end date: 2027-08-31.
Working hours: Daytime.
