We are looking for a service-minded, proactive, and organized conference and catering assistant with a passion for service!
You will be part of our Real Estate & Facilities team, whose task is to deliver the best guest experiences for our client, a well-known tech company in central Stockholm.

About the role
In the role of conference and catering assistant, you will work in our conference department, where we deliver world-class catering and meeting experiences. Your main tasks will be to create a first-class reception for both employees and guests by:
- Preparing, organizing, and setting up all catering on buffet stations and serving trolleys for various meetings and events, such as breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, and networking.
- Having overall operational responsibility on the floor for our conference department and catering, in close collaboration with our event coordinator and nearest colleagues.
- Responsible for the delivery and serving of food and beverages. We prefer that you have previous experience from the hotel or restaurant industry and have worked with catering and service previously, such as as a head waiter, conference and event staff, or server.
- Refilling coffee machines, milk fridges, tea and cake stations, fruit baskets, and office supplies in conference rooms, ensuring everything is always well-stocked and in place.
- Being visible and talking to both employees and guests is a high priority, as is always giving that little extra with a cheerful mood.
- Conducting rounds of conference rooms, social areas, pantries, and toilets, including supervisory cleaning, to ensure they are in top condition.
- Daily collaboration and support with other colleagues, service functions, and cleaning staff.

- Have an eye for detail and see what needs to be done, refilled, fixed, and prepared.
- Have a good sense of high quality and top-level service.
- Have good communication skills and be able to communicate with both colleagues, suppliers, customers, and guests.
Requirements
- Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as we work in an international environment. Being able to converse effortlessly in both Swedish and English is a requirement, so part of the interview will be conducted in English.
- Experience in service work within restaurants, cafés, hotels, events, conferences, service, or similar.
- Strong social skills and being outgoing, as you will meet many people from different backgrounds and nationalities.
- Have a strong passion for service.

About the position
The position is a permanent full-time position of 40 hours/week. Working hours are scheduled Monday–Friday between 08:00–17:00. Note that evening events occur. The workplace is located in our client's beautiful and modern premises in central Stockholm.
