Guest Services - Here to Help and Assist

As a guest services and all-round staff member, you will be one of our key figures in ensuring that our guests have the best possible experience and that our facility is in top condition. You move between different departments and are not afraid to jump in where needed, whether it is at the bistro counter, in housekeeping, at the ice cream kiosk, or in kayak rentals.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and are practical. Since the work can be physically demanding, it is important that you are strong and resilient.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and Order: Help maintain order and functionality on the premises. Check and empty waste stations and recycling bins, perform simple clearing and mowing tasks, and inspect cabins in collaboration with housekeeping.
• Guest Services and Hospitality: Assist guests with various tasks, such as changing light bulbs, helping to jump-start a car with a dead battery, delivering grill packages, or sourcing a missing cheese slicer for a cabin.
• All-Round/Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and fix small issues, such as changing light bulbs, watering flowers, clearing drains, and emptying trash.
• Kayak Rentals: Assist with renting kayaks, SUPs, and paddle boats. Instruct guests on safety and handling, and ensure that equipment is in good condition.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a real "doer" and who have:

• Experience in guest services and hospitality.
• A positive attitude and a service-oriented mindset.
• The ability to work independently, take initiative, show responsibility, and be flexible.
• Experience in maintenance and repairs, or are handy.
• Enjoy physical work and being outdoors in all weather conditions.

Gålö Havsbad is big and small at the same time. Located in the middle of a nature reserve, 3.5 miles south of Stockholm, close to the beach, sea, and hiking trails. Here you will find 4-star camping, cabins, glamping tents, conference facilities, and activities, among other things. Guests come from both Sweden and other parts of Europe.
