We are looking for a lively and alert night receptionist to join our fantastic reception team at Quality Hotel Vänersborg.

The position is a temporary assignment of 83% night work, scheduled between 22:00–07:00, with 7 shifts over a 14-day period.

The temporary contract runs from 2026-08-24 (with 2 weeks of training prior) to 2027-08-31 (with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter).

As a receptionist, you are the face of the hotel and the first person our guests meet. You are the hub of the operation and a key part of creating a unique and unforgettable experience for our guests. It is in the reception area that guests form their first impression and where they turn with questions. We believe you have a unique ability to see each guest individually, a positive and problem-solving attitude, contagious energy, the courage to ask questions, and the initiative to take action.

The role of night receptionist includes administrative tasks such as night audits, balancing the daily cash register, preparing for the next day, assisting our guests, cleaning, and preparing the breakfast buffet.

Your primary responsibility is to welcome guests arriving late at night. While everyone else is asleep, you lay the groundwork for your colleagues' upcoming workday. Independence is your motto. As a night owl, few others are awake when you work, meaning you must make many decisions on your own. By having good prioritization skills and being flexible, you are not only the face of the hotel at night, but also the reliable point of contact for fire and safety matters.

About you:

• You are 20 years old or older.
• You enjoy meeting people, have a positive and open attitude, and are confident in yourself with a strong sense of service.
• You enjoy challenges and are solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You have good computer skills.
• You have a warm and considerate personality.

Previous experience in the hotel or other service industry is an advantage.
