We are looking for you who want to work broadly within service through Carotte on assignment for Gothia Towers and Svenska Mässan. In this role, you will become part of an engaged team that is passionate about service, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences for guests at everything from trade fairs and conferences to banquets and large events.

About the role

In this role, you will become part of a lively and dynamic event environment where variety and pace are a natural part of everyday life. You will meet guests from all over the world and contribute to creating first-class experiences at everything from trade fairs and conferences to banquets and Christmas dinners, while also ensuring that every event runs smoothly before, during, and after.

Examples of tasks:

• Serving food and drinks at events, banquets, and conferences.
• Guest interaction and world-class service.
• Exhibition catering at Svenska Mässan.
• Dishwashing and preparing serving areas.
• Cash handling and payment service.
• Collaboration with colleagues to ensure a positive guest experience.

You will work on a rolling schedule where working hours are scheduled every day of the week, including weekends and evenings. This is a fixed-term employment at 60% during the period August to December 2026, with a chance of extension.

Your profile

You have the ability to deliver service beyond the ordinary and perform your work without ego and with a cheerful mood. You are good at collaborating as you are expected to support colleagues who are new to the job.

As a consultant at Carotte, you are responsible and have an easy time adapting to new situations. We naturally assume that you are professional and personal in your meeting with guests and colleagues. Previous experience in serving and restaurant work is highly meritorious, and we prioritize candidates who have worked in a similar role previously. At the same time, experience is not an absolute requirement – we also welcome applications from you who have a strong service focus, the right attitude, and a desire to develop within the industry.

If you lack previous experience or education in guest interaction and serving, we offer a basic introduction and training to give you the best prerequisites for succeeding in the role and delivering first-class service to our customers.
