RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to prepare delicious and nutritious traditional Swedish home cooking from scratch and contribute to the daily joy of our pensioners? As we open a new residential facility, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team who wants to develop our meals with taste, quality, and care in focus.

At our workplace, food is prepared from scratch – this is the core of the job. You are responsible for preparing nutritious and tasty meals, special diets, consistency-adapted meals, as well as simple desserts and baked goods. You will plan and organize the daily work in the kitchen, including responsibility for hygiene, dishwashing, and cleaning according to our routines and self-control programs. You will also participate in dialogue regarding meal planning together with colleagues and the unit manager. Packing of meal distribution and planning within packing are included in the role.

You need to be flexible and prepared to work at all four of the municipality's kitchen units. The starting point is Beatebergsservicehus in Skee.

We are looking for someone with experience as a cook who thrives in a kitchen where quality and care are central.

The position starts in September with weekend shifts every other weekend according to the schedule. The position is fixed-term but there is a chance of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • We are looking for you who have upper secondary education within restaurant/large-scale catering or another cook education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Food hygiene and diet cooking.
  • You have documented knowledge of food hygiene and diet cooking.

Experience

  • Two years of experience from working as a cook.
  • You enjoy collaborating with others and contribute to solving tasks efficiently.
  • You have a positive and respectful attitude that makes both colleagues and guests feel welcome.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Ends: 2026-09-14.
