We are therefore looking for more assistant nurses (undersköterska) for the home care services within the City of Gothenburg. We currently have vacancies at Hemtjänst Bergsjön Öst, Hemtjänst Torpavallen Östra, and Hemtjänst Torpavallen Västra.

Hemtjänst Bergsjön Öst is looking for assistant nurses who have both a B-driving license and cycling experience. The unit is based at Teleskopsgatan 18.

Hemtjänst Torpavallen Östra is looking for assistant nurses. Two of the positions require a B-driving license. For the third position, a B-driving license is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have cycling experience and previous experience as a dedicated care contact. The unit is based at premises on Torpavallsgatan 9.

Hemtjänst Torpavallen Västra is looking for assistant nurses. Good collaboration skills are required. It is meritorious if you have a B-driving license and/or cycling experience. The unit is based at premises on Torpavallsgatan 9.

Working in home care means supporting and helping the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You also perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from licensed personnel. All documentation is done digitally.

About you

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for the protected professional title, or alternatively can show that you were employed as an assistant nurse when the new rules were introduced.
• Cycling experience and comfort using e-bikes at work is required for some operations (see description in ad text).
• B-driving license and driving experience is required for some operations (see description in ad text).

Meritorious

• Experience from previous work in home care.
• Cycling experience and comfort using e-bikes at work is meritorious for some operations (see description in ad text).
• B-driving license and driving experience is meritorious for some operations (see description in ad text).

You enjoy both collaborating with others and working independently, and you have good communication skills. You are computer literate for documentation in IT systems and have good Swedish language skills both in speech and writing to communicate effectively with others.

You take your tasks seriously, are keen on finishing what you start, and ensure that the work is done correctly. You are friendly and helpful to other people even in stressful situations. You think of those we serve and their best interests.

You can quickly adapt your working method and you see opportunities instead of obstacles. Since work in home care can change when unexpected events occur, you adapt your communication to the recipient and the situation. You convey information and ideas clearly and ensure that your message gets across.
