Sunpine is the world's largest producer of Renewable Diesel – and we are growing. We are now looking for a Process Engineer for our production department. Are you our new colleague?

At Sunpine, we take a by-product from the forest and turn it into a raw material for biofuels and other renewable products. Our production process is protected by approximately 90 patents and is almost entirely fossil-free. We are now looking for a Process Engineer who can drive operational technology development to ensure safe, sustainable, and optimized production.

As a Process Engineer at Sunpine, you will prepare calculations and supporting materials for pre-studies, trials, and optimizations. You will work with process engineering calculations, simulations, and flowcharts, develop technical specifications and function descriptions for equipment and systems, and act as a support to project management and procurement during tenders. You will conduct risk analyses and develop processes and methods.

The role reports directly to the Head of Production Technology. You are part of the production department but also work closely with the maintenance, project, and logistics departments.

We are looking for you who have an academic education in a technical engineering field or equivalent experience. You have experience with advanced or large-scale projects, reporting, as well as digitalization initiatives and/or process calculations. Experience with HAZOP or ASA, knowledge of process flow diagrams, and previous work in the process industry – preferably refineries – are meritorious. You should be able to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, orally and in writing, and have good skills in Excel.

As a person, you are proactive, clear, structured, and have good collaboration skills. You are analytical and enjoy solving complex problems, while also having the ability to drive work forward in an independent and methodical manner.
