Job Responsibilities

Daytime activities are an intervention for adults who are entitled to the intervention according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).

As a support assistant with us, you work to support the client in their daily life. We tailor job tasks to meet the client's interests and needs. We support and motivate the client in activities and tasks. A large part of the work involves creating and maintaining a good and close relationship with the client, as well as working to ensure they have meaningful engagement. You work together with your colleagues using respectful and individualized interaction in all situations. At the workplace, you have significant responsibility and good opportunities to influence.

We are now looking for an employee for one of our groups that performs both internal and external property tasks in collaboration with Enköping Housing.

Examples of daily job tasks with us:

• Refilling salt in water softeners
• Patrolling laundry rooms, stairwells, attic storage, and cellars
• Picking up litter
• Disposing of waste at the Recycling Center
• Shopping

Other tasks we perform may include:

• Cleaning of trash rooms
• Car care
• Cleaning of mailboxes
• Deep cleaning of storage rooms and garages
• Distribution of information to tenants
• Planting and watering seasonal plants and some garden maintenance

In our daily work, we adapt instructions, use visual supports, and structure the workday to make work tasks understandable and independent.

We perform social documentation according to current legislation and write implementation plans and associated activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant upper secondary education, for example from the Child and Leisure program or Health and Care program
• Experience from work within LSS
• Practical inclination and good service sense
• Knowledge and experience of working with alternative and augmentative communication
• Good computer skills and ability to express yourself in writing. Documentation is a large part of the work
• Category B driver's license and access to a personal car
