Residential Support in Tierp Municipality is divided into eight different teams with various focuses. There are three general psychiatric teams, one LSS team, one youth team, one family team, and one integration team.

We are now looking for reinforcements for our youth team. The target group is young people aged 13–21 who need support.

Your responsibilities include:

• Support in school
• Support for treatment of harmful addiction
• Support for meaningful leisure activities
• Support in emotional management
• Support regarding self-harm behavior

Our working methods are low-affective handling, solution-focused approach, and MI (Motivational Interviewing).

We are looking for someone driven by a strong commitment to young people. As a person, you are structured, solution-focused, and flexible.

You work closely with the young person in daily life, follow and work based on the goals in the implementation plan (BBIC), and support a well-functioning life and health. The role places high demands on interpersonal skills, the ability to create safe professional relationships, and the ability to motivate, stay present, and handle conflicts in a low-affective manner. You must be able to accommodate the young people's various emotional states and create hope for a well-functioning and healthy life.

Requirements and Merits

We are looking for you with education as a treatment assistant, behavioral scientist, social worker, or equivalent.

• A B-driving license is required.
• An extract from the criminal record is required.
• Experience working in HVB homes for addicted youth may be an advantage.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Qualifications

Tierp Municipality is part of a Swedish-speaking administrative area. If you, in addition to our other competence requirements, also speak Finnish, it can be an asset.
