About the work – build something new with us

Individkraft is opening a new group home under the LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) for target group 2. We are now looking for engaged and secure employees who want to be involved from the start and contribute to shaping a business where quality, respect, and human interaction are at the center.

The work involves providing support and care to adults with acquired brain injuries sustained in adulthood who need care, structure, continuity, and long-term, relationship-based support. The focus is on creating security in daily life and prerequisites for increased independence, participation, and quality of life.

The role includes, among other things:

• Practical support and assistance to residents in daily routines, structure, and planning
• Working to build relationships and create security in daily work
• Providing motivational and practical support based on individual needs
• Collaborating with relatives, healthcare, and other societal actors
• Documenting according to current legislation and business routines
• Working from a low-affective and solution-focused approach

Since the business is new, there is a unique opportunity to influence working methods, routines, and culture, as well as to help build a stable and sustainable operation from the ground up.

About you

We are looking for you who have a secondary education in nursing care, preferably with a focus on disabilities, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. An alternative could be post-secondary education within one of our areas of operation.

You should feel secure in your role and have at least 3 years of experience working with the target group. You should feel secure in handling problematic behavior. If you have knowledge in one or more of our activities, such as crafts, wellness, data/media, gaming, art, or music, it is a great merit.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in elderly care and/or have pedagogical education and training in communication, for example, TAKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

An important part of your work is maintaining social documentation. Therefore, it is necessary that you master Swedish well, both in speech and writing.

You feel comfortable working independently and can be flexible based on the wishes and needs of our participants. You are unpretentious, curious, have a positive attitude, and enjoy collaborating. You thrive when there is a lot happening and find it easy to prioritize. You need to have the ability to listen and put yourself in other people's situations and have good empathetic skills. You enjoy working in a structured, quality-conscious, and solution-focused manner based on each participant's individual needs.
