To minimize transport and environmental impact, our ambition is always to purchase as large a share of the wood as possible from the mill's immediate surroundings.

About the position

At the debarking plant, you are responsible for the first part of the process in manufacturing paper pulp, including unloading incoming wood and ensuring it is processed into chips.

The duties include process supervision of the operator area. You are responsible for running the department in the best possible way, considering quality, environment, economy, and quantity, according to given instructions and production plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Unloading wood from trucks and railways, and performing internal transport with a wood forklift.
• Performing internal transport of chips, bark, waste, etc., with a wheel loader.
• Starting and stopping equipment, as well as supervision within the operator area.
• Checking that production equipment and forklifts are functioning as intended. In case of deviations, you will write work orders.
• Collecting samples for further analysis in the laboratory and performing laboratory analyses yourself.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a forklift driver.
• Wheel loader license and cargo handling experience.
• Driver's license, class B minimum.
• Upper secondary education in the industrial program, N/T program, vocational higher education (YH), or what the company deems equivalent.

Meritorious

• Forklift license C3B.
• Experience within the industry.
• Shift work experience.

Other

Start: According to agreement, taking into account any notice period.

Scope: Full-time.

Working hours: Shift work.

Location: Vallviks Bruk, outside Söderhamn.

Other: Alcohol and drug tests are performed according to policy prior to employment.
