At SafeWork, we are currently looking for CNC Technicians for our clients in Gävle and Sandviken.

Your Role

As a CNC Technician with our clients, you will work with advanced CNC machining, including turning, milling, and grinding. You will be involved in several stages of production, such as setting up a 6-meter long, 5-axis machine and ensuring all settings are correct.

You will program and operate high-tech CNC machines where precision and problem-solving are a natural part of your daily routine. This role is challenging and requires a curious and analytical approach.

You will have significant responsibility, where your technical expertise and ability to find smart solutions are key. The role requires strong knowledge of CAD and CAM, as well as a desire to continuously improve and optimize processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Advanced CNC turning in multi-axis machines
• Programming in CAD/CAM
• Measurement, quality control, and optimization of work processes
• Setup and machine monitoring
• Production development

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with experience working with complex machines and components requiring high precision. You should have education in process technology or CNC, with a good understanding of reading technical drawings, measurement techniques, and metalworking. We are looking for someone who is accustomed to taking significant responsibility and initiating actions independently.

You work in a structured manner to achieve quality and have strong collaboration skills. You thrive in an environment where you can participate in optimizing processes and are motivated by contributing solutions that strengthen our clients' production and long-term development. Furthermore, you are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speaking and writing.
