Painting Work at Werksta Hudiksvall – Quality and Precision in Focus

As a body shop painter at Werksta Hudiksvall, you are responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing car bodies and parts according to manufacturer specifications and workshop guidelines. You work in modern facilities with well-equipped paint booths and in close collaboration with panel beaters, damage surveyors, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured repair process.

Job Responsibilities – Preparation, Painting, and Quality Control

  • Prepare surfaces: degreasing, sanding, masking, and priming

  • Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using the correct techniques and equipment

  • Mix paint, follow color codes, use mixing systems, and document recipes

  • Perform polishing and finishing to achieve the correct finish

  • Collaborate with panel beaters and damage surveyors to plan work orders and delivery times

  • Perform quality control and document completed work in the workshop system

  • Follow safety procedures, handle materials in an environmentally correct manner, and contribute to orderliness in the paint shop

Requirements & Desired Qualifications

  • Education or extensive experience as a body shop painter in the automotive industry

  • Knowledge of modern painting methods, color systems, and environmental requirements

  • Experience with paint mixing and use of spray guns

  • Meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented

  • Ability to collaborate in a team and work structured independently

  • Category B driver's license is an advantage

  • Swedish language skills (written and spoken) are required

This is a permanent position with a 6-month probation period, full-time. Start date according to agreement.
