We are now looking for a meticulous and engaged cold kitchen chef (kallskänka) for a restaurant in Lund. Here, you will work in a concept kitchen focusing on fresh lunch dishes and breakfast items such as poké bowls, sandwiches, salads, and classic prawn sandwiches, all with high quality and a clear expression.

This is a role for you who likes structure, pace, and creating food that looks good and tastes great.

About the role

You will work in a cold kitchen where preparation, finishing touches, and pace are central parts of the day. The focus is on delivering consistent, attractive, and flavorful dishes during the lunch service. You will also prepare sandwiches for breakfast.

Your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Preparing and composing poké bowls, sandwiches, and salads.
• Cooking and plating prawn sandwiches and other cold dishes.
• Working with mise en place for daily service.
• Ensuring high quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Maintaining good order, structure, and hygiene in the cold kitchen.
• Contributing to an efficient workflow during the lunch rush.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience from the kitchen, preferably cold kitchen, lunch restaurant, or café.
• Has preferably worked with poké bowls or similar.
• Is fast, meticulous, and likes clear routines.
• Has a sense for plating and presentation.
• Thrives in a high-paced environment with a strong service focus.
• Is responsible and works well in a team.
• Has an interest in fresh ingredients and modern lunch dishes.

Experience as a cold kitchen chef, in a café, catering, or similar is meritorious, but the right attitude is most important.

• Salary between 159–180 SEK/hour, depending on experience.
