About Margretorp Guesthouse

Margretorp Guesthouse is one of Sweden's oldest guesthouses, with roots dating back to the 14th century. Located in the heart of Scania, we are known for our historical charm combined with modern comforts. Our facility offers 57 newly renovated rooms, spa barrels for relaxation, and a beautiful garden. We also feature a conference center and a wedding venue with capacity for 250 guests, as well as a large restaurant with 240 seats. We strive to provide our guests with a unique experience of Scanian tradition and high-class service. We are now looking for a receptionist who is available for extra shifts as needed and wants to become part of our dedicated team.

Responsibilities

As a receptionist, your duties will include:

• Managing the booking system and guest inquiries via email and phone.
• Handling check-ins and check-outs, payments, and other administrative tasks.
• Resolving any guest issues and inquiries quickly and efficiently.
• Communicating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience from a hotel reception or similar role.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in the guest experience.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of booking systems.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
