Your Role

We are now looking for a Production Support specialist who will serve as the link between production and the design department, providing support to operations when production stoppages occur.

You will be part of a section with approximately ten designers responsible for new development, design, and management of electronic systems in our missile system products. The work takes place in an environment with competent colleagues who promote both personal and career development. We value a workplace where community, stimulating tasks, and well-being are in focus.

Your workplace and office are located in Karlskoga. The position may involve travel, both nationally and internationally.

In the role of Production Support, you function as a technical support with the goal of minimizing downtime during production stoppages. Your tasks include troubleshooting, analysis, and feedback of results to the design department for further actions. You are expected to solve technical challenges independently and, when necessary, collaborate with the design leads to find the right solution.

The work is both independent and based on close collaboration with others, while offering a varied and changing daily routine.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with a technical background who has good problem-solving skills and enjoys collaborating with others. You are a service-oriented person with a solution-oriented approach and strong drive. Since the role involves frequent contact with both production and the design department, it is important that you have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

We see that you have a background in electronics and experience with troubleshooting. It is an advantage if you have experience from a production environment as well as product knowledge.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.

Please note that we work with ongoing selection and the position may be filled before the final application date has passed. Due to the holiday period, feedback and the next steps in the recruitment process may take longer than usual. We process incoming applications continuously, but final feedback may not occur until the end of August. Thank you for your understanding and interest in the position.
