Do you enjoy working practically, taking responsibility for your own workday, and being a key part of a well-functioning operation? We are now looking for a service-oriented handyman/building superintendent for a conference facility in Tumba. In this role, you will work with both conference service and property-related tasks. You help create a welcoming environment for visitors, ensure that premises and common areas maintain a high standard, and perform practical tasks to ensure the facility operates smoothly in daily work. This is a role for you who thrives with routines and personal responsibility, has a practical aptitude, and enjoys providing good service.

You will become part of a small team responsible for conference and restaurant service at the facility, but you will work largely independently within your own areas of responsibility. The work includes both conference service and ongoing supervision, maintenance, and care of the area and buildings. You will have daily contact with internal customers and visitors (in Swedish and English) and will serve as an important representative for the operation.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Supporting internal and external customers within conference services
• Ensuring that conference rooms, common areas, and buildings maintain a high standard
• Being responsible for order and tidiness in and around the buildings
• Performing simple repair, assembly, and maintenance work
• Handling fault reports and resolving issues where possible
• Conducting daily rounds and supervision of several buildings in the area
• Handling waste, recycling, and other ongoing operational tasks
• Performing simple outdoor work such as sweeping, sanding, and snow removal as needed
• Contacting external contractors when specialist competence is required
• Assisting with other tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the business

• A valid driver's license (Category B) is required as you use a car at work
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Basic English skills to communicate with international visitors
• Basic computer literacy
• Experience from service professions, handyman work, property maintenance, or similar is meritorious but not a requirement

The facility is located some distance from public transport, so to commute to and from work smoothly, we require that you have access to your own car. The company car is also used in the role for work-related transport within the area. We place great emphasis on personality, attitude, and willingness to learn. You do not need several years of experience in similar work – the most important thing is that you are responsible, service-oriented, and have a practical aptitude.

The position is initially appointed as a three-month consulting assignment starting on August 11. The operation is simultaneously planning to conduct a recruitment process for a permanent solution later on.
