Service Technician at Saab Muskö Tele Workshop

Your Role

In your new exciting role as a Service Technician at the Tele Workshop at Saab Naval Muskö, you will work with new installations and maintenance of various systems on marine platforms. Here, there are great opportunities to develop your technical skills as you will work with colleagues with very high competence.

The work is varied as it involves ships with different levels of complexity and age.

You will work with preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification and replacement of existing systems, improvement work, and some administrative tasks.

The position is based in Muskö, but travel both domestically and internationally may occur.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for you who have a solid interest in technology and electronics and who find it easy to take initiative and come up with creative solutions. You are structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious in your work. We are looking for you who contribute to a good atmosphere in our operations and are happy to help both colleagues and other departments to achieve our common goals.

We believe your background is as an industrial electrician or service electrician. You have built up experience in troubleshooting and are accustomed to reading electrical drawings to understand how a system works.

To fit the role, we would like you to have:

• At least a secondary education in electronics, electricity, or telecommunications.
• A few years of work experience in the above-mentioned areas.
• Practical experience working with troubleshooting of complex systems, both at component and system level.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
